As much as I liked Night of...Return of...Revenge of the Living Dead and other Zombie related movies, I think the Zombie movie market may have been saturated.
Why not aim for a TV pilot, come up with an idea that can be sustained on an ongoing basis. Play it for laughs.
That way it wont matter if you shoot on video either.
Make it fresh and original, not derivative of Buffy (Vampire High anybody?). I think it would rule.
Think of the possiblilities...Hosts of Zombies, evil scientists (recurring bad guys), amusing Dreadlocked sidekick, pot smoking Zombies, Shotgun toting school teachers.
Anyways, this idea was free. The rest you pay for.

In a way SdChown is right, the market was saturated, but I have to say this:
Lets make some horror flicks that we can be proud of, and lets make them different than all of these other ones (ours can have real plots)So, in a way...we ough it to ourselves to prove others wrong,
